To celebrate Art Week, we had Mrs Toyas leading our art lesson today. She taught us about a person’s profile, and how it is different to a normal portrait, making us look at our partner in different angles. We looked at modern coins and Roman coins and saw the profiles on the back of them. Based on the Roman coins, we used pencil, drew some profiles, and then used pastels and paint to show the shadow and light.
We can’t wait to see them all in the frame as the finished product! Thanks to Mrs Toyas and the other mums for helping us.
