This project by Dorrington has been granted planning permission and the works will last for approximately 17 months.
So far some improvements have been made to the shops, such as White Company and the shuttered entrance way was built up (which we are very pleased about!).
During the Easter holidays 2018, as a goodwill gesture and in recognition of the disruption to the school, Dorrington kindly helped the school by completing some works to develop the courtyard toilets and the covered walkway. The climbing house and black stairwell were removed, making the space much larger and less congested. This area was also repainted. In the conservatory a new glass wall and door were fitted and the ceiling replaced. Redundant pipes were removed and the water fountain moved outside to a more convenient location.
We are thrilled with this and think it is a vast improvement to the area-thank you to all at Dorrington!
