At St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School, we celebrate children who have demonstrated, through use of the learning powers, that they are a good learner. One of our learning powers is: Resourcefulness.
Being resourceful means knowing “what to do” and ” where to go” when you are stuck. A resourceful learner uses imagination, takes risks and asks questions.
As part of our Learning Powers afternoon, we became resourceful learners by creating ‘something out of nothing’ with different materials such as cardboard boxes, tissue paper, plastic bottles etc. We discussed our ideas with each other and used our imagination. The results were fantastic!
