Today, Year 3 travelled to the Museum of London to take part in a workshop all about ‘Prehistory in the Thames Valley’. The workshop started off with an exciting and captivating puppet show with each story being based on objects discovered in the Thames valley area. The children had the chance to increase their chronological understanding and develop historical enquiry skills through the combination of fictional stories and object handling.
It was a fantastic day and three commuters on the tube congratulated the children on their wonderful behaviour with one man saying ‘these children are the most beautifully behaved children I have ever seen!’ Well done Year 3, you all represented St Vincent’s brilliantly!
