Year 2 have loved celebrating reading with World Book Day today. In the morning, we did different activities based on the story book ‘Princess Smartypants’. It was especially exciting as we got to be taught by three different teachers! In the afternoon, we watched a special World Book Day show with different illustrators reading us their stories and teaching us about their characters. They told us how they create their different characters and then how to draw them. We finished the day with family reading, it was lovely to read with our mummies, daddies, brothers, sisters and friends in the class.
