To launch our topic of the Stone Age we explored sources and artefacts! We returned to the classroom after lunch to find that the contents of Year 2’s bin had been tipped out onto one of our tables! We had to work together to find out what Year 2 had been doing that morning!
The activity helped us to realise that in prehistory, we can only rely upon artefacts as evidence to tell us what life was like. We are only going to have a partial account depending on what evidence has survived.
