Year 2 had a wonderful day enjoying the sunshine in Hyde Park. We used all our learning in Science about plants to identify different parts of the plants in the park. We learnt about different trees and how they protect themselves from the squirrels who eat their branches and seeds.
We played games to help us remember what plants need to grow and all the different parts of a plant. We then used things we found on the floor to create our own nature picture of a plant. Finally, we made our own plant pots and planted a seed to take home and look after. We can’t wait to watch them grow!
