The CREATE Art project has sadly come to an end at St Vincent’s!
Over the last few months a group of pupils have been learning the skill of photography and collaging. It has been impressive watching these skills develop and the confidence shown each week. Pupils can now successfully use a camera and incorporate their creative skills through taking photographs and editing their work.
The sessions have given the pupils the opportunity to develop a number of other skills such as team work, communication, creative thinking and confidence and self esteem.
On Monday afternoon the children were able to share their collage pieces with both staff and parents at St Vincent’s and pupils from Hallfield Primary School who were also involved in the project. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the children and see them taking pride in their work.
