Today, Year 6 welcomed pupils from All Souls Primary to watch and take part in an Anti Drugs workshop led by ADAD Theatre. First we watched a play about a boy who becomes a drug user. Afterwards we took part in a workshop where we learned; What are drugs? How do they work in our bodies? What effects do they have? What are the dangers associated with drug misuse? Then the children were invited to meet characters from the play to challenge and discuss their behaviour.
Everyone learned more about the dangers of drugs and also about resisting peer pressure, personal responsibility and informed choice. Many thanks to the SVPA for funding this informative and important experience for Year 6.
