Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their workshop today to celebrate our Judaism topic this week. The focus of the workshop was based on the Torah – the Holy text of Judaism. We learnt SO many facts and were able to identify similarities to the bible.
During the workshop we were able to experiment with writing in Hebrew, the language the Torah is written in. We found it tricky writing from right to left!
We also enjoyed trying on a Kippah (a special hat) and a Tallit (a prayer shawl). We recorded all of our impressive findings in our Religious Education book. A special thank you to Ruth who taught us so many interesting things about Judaism today!
