In Year 1 we have been looking at still life paintings. We looked at work produced by Cezanne, Pissarro and Frieda Kahlo. We have spoken about what see in the paintings and what we like about them. We all liked the bright colours the artists used.
Today we painted a still life painting by looking at what we saw in front of us. We tried hard to study the piece of fruit or vegetables we were painting. We also used very thin and a thick paintbrushes, and experimented with different strokes.
