Our Pupil Chaplains work hard at play times to help to provide a peaceful range of activities. The Pupil Chaplains also help up to prepare for Mass and prayers times. They will be particularly busy during Advent.
Before they can become a Pupil Chaplain the children must write a letter of application and they are then trained by their more experienced peers. Here are some of the reasons they gave for wanting to take on this important role:
” I like helping people.”
“I am willing to give up my playtime for others and be a role model, so others can learn to be more like Jesus.”.”
” I would like to be active in promoting the spiritual life of the school.”
” I want to help children if they are sad or lonely. I will show them how to weave.”
