World Book Day was a wonderful day. We all came to school dressed as book characters from different books we love reading.
First, we went down to assembly to talk about World Book Day and what it is. We showed the whole school our amazing costumes by parading around the hall.
The Year 5’s then had so much fun working with different class teachers on superhero themed reading and writing tasks. To end the day we invited parents and siblings to read with us. It was a great day to see all our class members dressed up as their favourite characters!
