Daily Maths Task

Multiplication & Division

We are continuing our work on multiplication and division today.

Today we will focus on dividing by 3 and 4

In this example, division can be seen in two different ways: first, finding the number of stands you need to fit the 6 birds, by putting them into Groups of 3; and second, placing the birds in 3 equal groups (on 3 bird stands).

    Good morning, Miss Jones

I know a method to answer dividing question. So if you have 27:3 and you don’t know the answer, you can just use reverse 3×9=27, just use multiplication instead.
