  13. Blueberry dumlings recipe:
Blueberry dumplings is my favourite dish. My Grandmother makes the best dumplings and here is the recipe:
Blueberries for stuffing: Put some blueberries in a bowl. Then add sugar and some flour (it keeps the juice and the dumplings do not break while cooking), and mix them carefully. And there you have it: The blueberry stuffing
Dumplings: Get another bowl. Then add some flour, 1 egg, a little bit of salt and some water. Then mix the ingredients together.
After that, get the dough out of the bowl and cut the dough into circles. After that put some blueberry stuffing on the dough and then quickly with your fingers squeeze the dough together so none of the blueberry stuffing comes out. When the dumpling are ready, you need to boil them and to do that you will need: a pot with hot water in it and a spoon to take them out when they are cooked. When you finished boiling them you start eating them. Bon apetit.

  31. People often assume that the banana fruit grows on trees, however, the banana is a high herb which can grow up to 15 metres. There are over 1000 different varieties of bananas growing around the world. Some are sweet, like the Cavendish variety, which is the most common and most widely exported.

Banana plants thrive in tropical regions where the average temperature is 80° F (27° C). Most bananas exported are grown within 30 degrees either side of the equator. The plants need rich, dark and fertile soils. Bananas take between six and twelve days to get to the UK. In order to increase shelf life, they are transported at a temperature of 13.3°C, and require careful handling in order to prevent damage. Bananas are grown in the tropical regions of Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Most tropical fruit available in British supermarkets is exported from Latin America, the Caribbean and West Africa.
