Today Class 6 attended the annual Community Carol Concert at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The concert was held in the famous Long Room of the Pavilion overlooking the cricket pitch. Class 6 performed ‘Silent Night’ on stage, singing so beautifully that we received many compliments from the Lord’s staff and visitors. We also sang along with lots of other carols including ‘Hark the Herald Angels sing’, ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ and, of course, ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’! Refreshments of mince pies and gingerbread made us feel even more festive and then…Santa arrived! We had been so good that he gave us presents of cricket balls and referee’s hats.
