I’ve really been enjoying our RE topic which teaches us all about Pentecost. You’ve managed to retell two important Bible stories so far: the women finding that Jesus had risen from the dead and when Jesus ascended into Heaven. Later this week we will look at what happened on the day of Pentecost itself.
Today we are going to think about another BIG QUESTION. Remember that this type of question needs lots of thinking and talking with your family. Try and include ‘because’ to explain your reasons. Are you ready?!
What is the best way to pass on the message of Good News?

The good news is that Jesus is alive.
It is important to spread the good news so people who don’t already know about it will then know.
We can spread it by telling everybody about it and living like Jesus so people can look at you and do the same. But right now, we have to spread it by Zoom, FaceTime or telephone.
People would like to receive this message with kindness.
We can show that it’s an important message by being kind.

2. So everyone knows about the Holy Spirit.
3. By telling other people then making them tell other.
4. Throw the Holy Spirit, so they can believe it and to pass the Good News.

Why is it important that people learn about the Holy Spirit? How does it help us?
We can spread the good news by telling people because the news is meant for everyone. We can also spread the good news by being kind and ,helping the poor and thing about other.
You’re right Joshua! We can use our words and our actions to spread the news.
Good news is when happy moments happen to people for example, when Jesus was thought to be dead, he proved everyone wrong and was risen from the dead and everyone was in tears of relief.
It is important to spread good news to others because it teaches people to have a kind heart as it shows them good things will happen to them if they are respectful. We can spread this by showing kindness and peace to others as it shows them to do the same to others. For example, Jesus had good news to Simeon and he had healed him/he was able to see again. After that, he was kind to others and believed in Jesus as he helped him so Simeon is doing the same for others. Lastly, we can show that it is an important message by being nice and that the good news will effect them in a good way so they will listen.

The Good news is that Jesus came back to life. It is very important to spread it to others as it is the word of God. We spread the good news through teachings, by praying and coming together as a community. People would like to receive this message in a kind way and not by forcing them. It is an important message as it is the word of God and that the good news is the death, resurrection and lordship of Jesus Christ and that faith in Jesus can change people.
What an important message Gabi! Community is such an important part and we are lucky to have such a special St Vincent’s community.

It is important to spread it to others so they can be happy too.
We can spread it by telling a person and telling them to spread it as well.
People like to receive this message by singing or a letter. Joh and Matthew wrote the bible.
We can show that it is an important message by just talking about one thing. If it was a letter you could write important message on the letter.
