When reading or plotting coordinates on a grid, remember the rule:
Along the corridor and up the stairs.
That means x first and then y, like this: (x,y).
Describing Position and Plotting Points:
Need some practise? Plot the coordinates given below and describe the shape that is made.
Describing Movements:
We can describe the translation (movement) of a shape using the grid. Look at the example:

Then click book contents.
Scroll down to chapter 13.
Then click on Review 13.
