Good Morning, Nursery.

Well done for all of your hard work in phonics this week.

These are the sounds that we were practicing this week. Can you hear and say the beginning sounds in the words?

Today, we are going to practice learning the order of the letters in our names.

Can you create a name card that will help you to remember the order of the letters in your name?

You can use capital letters or lower case letters but the first letter must be a capital.

Here are some ideas to get you started but you can be as creative as you like.

Can you use your finished name card to practice writing your name?

Keep your name card or print out a photo of it so that you can keep on practicing writing your name.

I am looking forward to seeing all of your finished name cards and your fantastic writing.

Love from Miss Siswick

Please don’t include your child’s face in the photos as we cannot publish photos that identify a child by name.

PRINTABLE VERSION:N Phonics Friday

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.
