Hello Class 4!
Today we are going to be thinking about all of the wonderful songs we have sang at school!
Sometimes thinking about happy memories makes us smile…
Which is your favourite song that you sung at school?
I would love to see the different favourite songs within our class!
Please write your favourite song on the blog, along with the reasons why it is your favourite.
Challenge:
Perhaps you are feeling particularly artistic today and you want to draw a picture to go with your favourite song?
Or even write another verse for your favourite song that fits with rhythm?
I look forward to reading your comments about your favourite songs!
I am going to have a think about my favourite songs too and post on the blog!

Hello Miss Lee ,
Our favourite song is a song we sung in chamber choir which was called I am only one call away.
The reason why we like this song because is it has a nice rhythm of the song and the meaning of the song is that you are calling god when your alone.
What a lovely song choice! Thank you for sharing girls!
I do not know what my favourite song is.
Could you pick a song to write another verse to?
My favourite song was the custom we will rock you.
This is because I has a catchy rhythm
Yes that is a good one!
My favourite song is the roman song in are assembly.
I like this song because it has a good tune and a good rhythm. I also likes this song because I learnt a lot in class about it, and it had funny bits in it.
Great to hear you enjoyed that song!
I like the song which goes like this
Sparkling, shining like jewels on the ground. I also like the world song, technically, all the songs in singing.
I will send you my picture miss Lee.
Ooh I can’t remember which one that is! Can you remember any of the other words to remind me? I love singing all the songs too! I look forward to seeing your picture!
I don’t know what my favourite song is.
My favorite song is aren’t you that man we saw with Jesus because it is loud and catchy!
A great choice! It’s always sung loud and clearly at St. Vincent’s… It must be lots of people’s favourite!
I like that song too!
My favourite song from school is Love shone down. I like it because it is very gentle and moving. It makes my mom cry sometimes!
Yes I love this one too and sometimes it makes me cry a little as well because it always sounds so beautiful when you all sing it!
My favourite is a Christmas song, I think about Christmas Eve, that I completely forgot… I will try and remember it. Year 4 sang it at the Christmas fair, but I was not there. Maybe somebody remembers it?
Is it the one that goes “I need a little Christmas”?
I think it is the one that goes I need a little Christmas… I think
We will rock you because it has a nice rhythm that inspires you
A nice loud and enthusiastic song too!
Raimundo, I thought so but I think we are wrong, can you remember any other Christmas songs to help Paolo?
My favourite song that I sung at school is… ALL the Christmas songs that we the sung at Christmas! It was so fun especially as I was in the choir and I sung lots of Christmas songs. I loved these the best because I really felt the Christmas magic ringing through me as I sung!
Oh yes all of the Christmas songs are great! Christmas is my favourite time of year!
My favourite song was probably Naughty Matilda! It was pretty catchy and it was a nice song in general! 🙂
Oh yes I love all the songs from musicals that are often sang in all of our St. Vincent’s assemblies! They always make we want to go to the theatre!
My favorite song is he’s alive, this is my favourite song because it tells us that knowone live like him knowone died like him he’s the first and last future, present, past.
Yes that is a joyful song!
I liked singing food glorious in year 3, but really I liked singing all of them.
A great song! When I was in Year 4 I was in a theatre show of Oliver and I remember singing that song on the stage! It’s a fun on to sing!
I am afraid it is not “I need a little Christmas ? “ …
Hmmm ? let me have a think…
Hello Miss Lee,Hi””(^¬^)
My favourite song is New beginnings because it’s a new beginning like when little ducklings hatch.
My favourite hymn is Lord of the dance because it reminds me that Jesus sacrificed him self for us.
Done
Bye””(^,^)
Both great choice and songs that are full of happiness!
Do we have to do the challenge?
You don’t have to but it would be nice to see if anyone creates their own verse!
My favourite song we have sung at school is MrJubbilition (Is that how you spell it?)because we had to sing really fast and it is pretty fun.
my favourite song in school sinew beginnings because that’s when people sway.
also when we were in year three, we sang on our assembly,” that’s amore!”by dean Martin.we all swayed too.
I think my favourite song is New Beginning and He is alive because it has a lot of rhythm and it reminds us of Jesus for his sacrifice on the cross.
Hello year 4,
This is Mr Rees. I’ve loved reading your comments.
Stella- I think the Christmas song you’re thinking of is called ‘Winter Carol’.
Paolo- I’m not sure which song you mean, but could it be ‘This Christmas Time’ ? (The chorus goes ‘Merry Christmas to you, Merry Christmas everybody, here’s to friends old and new and to this Christmas time’)
Thank you Mr Rees, maybe that’s the one you are thinking of Paolo?
I am afraid no, but thanks immensely Mr Rees!!! I will let you know if it will come into my mind ?
