Good Morning, Nursery.

I hope that you had a lovely weekend.

Today, we are going to think about feelings.

How many different feelings can you think of?

What makes you feel happy?

What makes you feel sad?

What helps you to feel happy again when you are feeling sad?

Can you use photos and pictures from magazines and the internet to create a collage of things that make you happy?

I can’t wait to hear from you today.

Love from Miss Siswick. (I will be teaching at school so I will not be able to respond until  later today.)

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.

  1. Hello Miss Siswick,

I feel happy when I play with Saoirse and fluffy. When I go in my paddling pool and eat cold ice cream in the sun.

I feel excited when I’m going to a birthday party.

I feel sad when when I fall and cut my knees.

I feel cross when I have to say sorry, but then I feel better after saying sorry.

I feel angry when Saoirse tells on me to the grown ups for being naughty and when I’m hungry and my lunch isn’t ready yet.

I feel worried if I have a scary dream.

I feel tired when I need to sleep and happy when I’m in bed.

I am happy when I am at home, when it is the weekend and no school work, riding on my bike, being in the sun, and eating chocolate ice cream and when I can build things and when I play with my bubbles outside.
I am sad. when someone is mean to me or if someone hurts me and when mummy doesn’t give me the keys to open the front door (as I dropped them down the lift).
I feel happy again when Mummy gives me a cuddle. We will send our collage soon.
