Can you and an adult take it in turns to say words that rhyme with dog to make a rhyming string? How many words can you think of? They don’t have to be real words!
You could write different beginning sounds to make lots of words that rhyme with dog.
You could even make up your own rhyming song about a dog like the big pig song!
I can’t wait to hear about your rhyming today.
Love from Miss Siswick. (I will be teaching at school so I will not be able to respond until later today.)
It would really help me if you could upload photos straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.
James watched some rhyming videos and started responding well to it and add words himself that rhymed. He came up with fog and log and wrote accordingly. We will send photos.
