As you are aware there are a number of different building developments taking place in the immediate area surrounding the school. Miss Coleman and the governors meet regularly with the different developers and contractors to ensure that there is minimal impact on the school, and we all liaise together very carefully. Obviously all works have been delayed due to lockdown restrictions. Below is an update of the plans for the next few months. Please see Miss Coleman if you have any questions.
Westminster City Council/ Conway Public Realm Improvements
Westminster City Council has commissioned highway works on St. Vincent Street which will result in a flush, level service, better lighting and drainage. Although the works will be noisy and disruptive, these improvements are much needed. As you will see from the letter below, this work was due to start today, Monday 6th July, to ensure completion before the start of the new academic year at the beginning of September. However there has been a delay due tot the hoarding from the building sites still being in situ and we are trying to find out the new start date. We will keep you fully updated as these works will require the closure of part of St.Vincent Street and diversions for pedestrians. so your journey to school may be different.
