We have been asked to share the following important message with our families…
As of 8 June, dental practices have reopened. Social distancing and additional hygiene measures are in place to keep you and your dental team safe. Practices are prioritising patients who need the most urgent help.
We know that for many people, visiting the dentist may seem overwhelming at this time. However, accessing dental treatment when you need it and looking after your oral health is more important than ever.
Local dentist, Dr Rakhee Vekaria recently shared a short clip with us on how to access dental treatment during this time and steps we can all take to look after our oral health at home.
If you need help from a dentist:
If you require dental care, please contact your practice. If you require urgent treatment, please contact your local practice. If your dentist is unable to provide the treatment during this time, they will direct you to NHS 111 which will arrange an appointment at an urgent dental care centre if appropriate.
