On Wednesday 27th January, children from Year 3 and 4 took part in the Westminster Athletics Tournament.
Every child took part in two field events and one relay running race. All the children tried their hardest at all events. For the vertical jump activity, one child even beat the Year 5 and 6 record! Trying to complete the speed bounce was very tiring as they had to jump over a hurdle as many times as possible in 30 seconds. Everyone worked hard in the relays and made sure that we always passed the baton carefully and ran our fastest.
Thank you to all the teachers and parents that came with us and cheered us on. Everyone had very sore throats and tired legs by the end of the day!
