In Class 5 we have been using our column methods to help us with addition and subtraction.
Now that we are in Year 5, we are looking at numbers up to 1,000,000!
This meant that our addition and subtraction sums looked quite long!
To help us, we used our place value columns and now we are all feeling more confident!
Next week we will be moving onto multiplication and division!
