Nursery Daily Prayers

Every day in the Nursery, we come together to say ‘Thank You’ to God for all that he has given us. We are practicing putting our hands together to pray and also making the sign of the cross before and after our prayers.  We say special prayers in the morning, at lunchtime and at the end of the day and some of us already know them off by heart. 

Here are the words of our daily prayers so that you can share them at home:

Good Morning, God.

We praise your Holy name,

And thank you for giving us this lovely new day.

Amen

Thank you for the world so sweet,

Thank you for the food we eat,

Thank you for the birds that sing,

Thank you, God, for everything.

Amen

God our Father,

We come to say,

Thank you for your love today,

Thank you for my family,

And all the friends you give to me,

Guard me in the dark of night,

And in the morning send your light.

Amen
