This week was a very exciting end to the first half term back at school.
For Enterprise week Year 4 designed, created and sold their own product as ‘The Friendship Company!’
We hand crafted friendship bracelets featuring encouraging words such as ‘LOVE’, FRIEND’ and ‘JOY’ and lovingly packaged them into handmade envelopes that the class decorated especially for our customers.
To ensure we sold as many bracelets as we possibly could, Year 4 carefully studied features of persuasive writing and filmed adverts to showcase their product.
We also learnt about how money works using physical coins to solve word problems, and finding out about profit and loss in anticipation of the opening of The Friendship Company.
We hope that our bracelets bring lots of joy to everyone who bought one, and that the spirit of friendship and kindness travels along from our class to you.
Have a great half-term Year 4 and good job for ALL of your hard work! You have done yourselves proud and I look forward to all of the things we will get up to in the next half of the Autumn term. Rest well and I will see you soon.
