We had a special virtual visit from Duggie Dug Dug today! Duggie Dug Dug usually comes into school during Science Week to amaze us with some Science experiments and today was no different!
We watched a really fun bubble show that was based on Psalm 139. He reminded us that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made and unique and that God had plans for us even before we were born. There were some really amazing bubble demonstrations with bubbles in bubbles, smoke filled bubbles, helium rocket bubbles, bubble sculptures and so much more.
Bubbles are amazing and, although they all look very similar, the colour patterns on the surface of every bubble are different. No two bubble patterns are the same. We were reminded that this is the same as us β none of us are exactly the same and God has created us all to be wonderful and unique. As God thinks we are all so amazing, we need to make sure that we treat each other in a way that respects that.
Duggie Dug Dug shared his own experiences of school where, sadly, he was bullied. He shared how mean words really hurt his feelings and made him feel very sad, but he didnβt have anyone to talk to about. Duggie Dug Dug reminded all of us how lucky we are to have so many adults around us who will listen to our problems and help us.
As you can see from the photos, everyone had a wonderful time watching the amazing experiments!
Thank you to Duggie Dug Dug for making this brilliant video just for us!
Thank you very much i really enjoyed it.
A big thank you to Duggie Dug Dug! Class 5 LOVED this special assembly!
I loved watching the show with the science experiments. My favourite song was the one at the beginning of the show. And my favourite experiment was the one with frozen carbon dioxide.
I really, realy enjoyed it! Thank you
I really enjoyed it too . I liked when he did the bubble bit
Hello! I really enjoyed the assembly. I liked how we got to test out different experiments and results, very interesting in my opinion! My favourite experiment, however, is the frozen carbon dioxide as well! Thank you so much for making this assembly especially for us! π
This was my first Duggie Dug Dug assembly and I LOVED it. Really fun and amazing and informative! The best part for me was watching the year 5 children have so much fun while learning.
