Today, we began our new Design and Technology project ‘London Landmarks.’ We looked at a variety of landmarks in London and discussed how each design is different. We learnt about the job of an architecture and talked about the design process.
We then began the first stage of our project ‘planning and designing.’ In groups we each selected a landmark we would study and design. We looked at the important criteria to help us think about important features we needed to include in our design.
After that, we drew our designs and labelled them making sure we thought through what materials we would need to make them.
We are excited to make our landmark designs in a few weeks time!
