Good morning St. Vincent’s! I hope you have had an enjoyable week 🙂Â
Today, I am encouraging you to get outside and get active!Â
Being active is one of the five ways to wellbeing:Â
- Give
- Be Active
- Keep Learning
- Connect
- Take Notice
Spending time outside makes us happier and lifts our moods-If I feel a little bit sad, I always try and get outside (even if its raining!) as I know it’ll make me smile 🙂Â
Today, you have two challenges to choose from:Â
-
You could complete the St. Vincent’s Scavenger Hunt. Head outside on a walk with an adult and see how many things you can find! You will need a pencil and you can either print off the St. Vincent’s Scavenger Hunt sheet or write it out. Click here to find it!Â
-
Or you could create some ‘Nature Art’! Head out on a walk and take with you a bag, box or bucket (preferably with a handle!) and make sure you wrap up warm. What can you find? Look for interesting leaves, sticks and stones. Bring them back to your house and see what you can create. Look at the images below for some inspiration!Â
Miranda, from Paddington Rec, offers some more ideas in the video above!Â
Have a lovely day and I would love to hear how you get on in the comments below 🙂
Last Wednesday I made a picture with a giant log in the middle!
That sounds great Giordano! Thanks for sharing 🙂 What other materials did you use?
I completed this activity today ,it was really fun!
I went for a long walk and did the check list 🙂
That sounds lovely-I love going for walks now it is feeling more ‘Spring like’!
Thank you for your comment 🙂
