As Year 4 returned to school this week, the pupils became the teachers!
Our class worked together in groups to produce some informative posters about all of the things they learnt during their topic lessons throughout this term.
Year 4 enjoyed being collaborative, resourceful and reflective learners. They re-immersed themselves into the classroom by helping their team mates to create some impressive fact files all about why volcanoes erupt, why earthquakes happen, what causes flooding and how climate change is affecting our planet. We used a range of sources such as books, photographs, the internet and each other to find accurate and interesting information about each of the topics.
They then presented their wonderful work to Mr. Kersys and the rest of their class, taking turns to speak about how they contributed to the task. We were even lucky enough to hear some fabulous facts about the extreme earth and wild weather!
Well done Year 4 for settling back into school life so quickly, I am so proud of how kind and thoughtful you have been towards each other and I hope you enjoyed talking, working and laughing with all of your class friends once again!
Mr. Kersys 🙂
I really like the posters.

It was very nice to do them in groups!
