We are very proud to present our very own assembly all about a famous superhero called Florence Nightingale.
We have enjoyed learning about how Florence Nightingale became known for her remarkable bravery and impact she had in hospitals during the Crimean war in 1854.
We hope you enjoy finding out lots of interesting information about the ‘Lady with the Lamp’ through our very own story of her life. We sketched portraits of Florence in our art lesson which you may notice in the background of our video too!
From Year 2 π
What a fabulous assembly Year 2-well done. Molly and I really enjoyed watching it with you and seeing you sing along. As well as sharing lots of important information, especially about Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole, you showed us how much you have learnt already this term and provided a really entertaining start to the day. Thank you to you all and your teachers as well.
