Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH)

The Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH) is delighted to announce that they have launched their new inclusive out of school music programme for children and young people who live or go to school in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster and the application portal is now open for bookings for September 2021!

The TBMH offer a range of music tuition from individual, paired or group lessons, to choirs, ensembles, music technology and theory classes to Jazz improvisation all held after school and on Saturdays during term time. Classes are all highly subsidised and they offer 50% remissions for eligible families and a range of scholarships too.

The TBMH encourage pupils from all backgrounds to join our musical activity whether it is a choir, instrumental ensemble, Saturday Music School or any other musical opportunity. the TBMH work with pupils with a range of needs and experiences, and their tutors are trained as inclusive music educators. Please do know that the TBMH is here for all children and young people, and that we will work hard to make each child feel valued and included with their music-making.

*Please note, registration for Saturday Music School closes on Friday 2nd July and places are subject to availability, so early booking is advised. The application portal for all other weekday classes/lessons closes on Friday 16th July. Current TBMH students will not automatically be re-enrolled, therefore a new application form must be completed if you wish your child to continue with their music lessons in September.

Vaughan Centre for Young Musicians (VCYM)

For boys who will be in Years 4, 5 or 6 in September 2021, there is also the possibility of joining the Vaughan Centre for Young Musicians (VCYM) http://www.stvincentsprimary.org.uk/cvcm-new-poster-202122/.

VCYM runs at the Vaughan School from 4.30 – 6.30 pm on Monday evenings during term time with around 60 boys from all across London attending to learn instruments, singing, ensembles and music theory. Since March this year it has run online and will probably continue that way in September at first, opening up as usual once it is safe to do so.

VCYM is looking to recruit new boys who will be in Years 4, 5 or 6 in September.
