We have had another busy day here at Sayers Croft!
After reading our letters from home, we did some pond dipping and found lots of fascinating creatures such as: a dragonfly, pond skaters, tadpoles and dragonfly nymphs.
We then had a WW2 tour as Sayers Croft became an evacuation centre during the war and housed a school from South East London. It was amazing to sit in a real life air raid shelter but scary to imagine what it would have been like for the boys all those years ago.
This afternoon we visited Ewhurst and conducted a Geographical study looking at land use in the village. It was certainly a lot quieter than Marylebone and the buses only come every 3 hours!
We are now getting ready for dinner and will enjoy a quiz later on this evening!
Check back tomorrow to see what Wednesday brings!
Thank you so much for sharing this adventure! They look like they are having a blast!
