On Friday the 12th February Year 5 were treated to a very special trip out! As part of a collaboration between Cirque Du Soleil and St Vincent’s Primary, the children were invited to attend a special performance of the theatre group’s latest show – Amaluna.
The performance was spectacular and the children left the Royal Albert hall stunned at what they had just witnessed. Aerial acrobatics, balancing acts, incredible drumming and even a bit of humour!
The children will now decide which part of the mechanised scenery they thought was the best and attempt to recreate a model of it in the classroom with support from Cirque Du Soleil. It will be fascinating to see what they produce!
