In English we have been exploring the text, ‘Handa’s Surprise’ by Eileen Browne. We have been looking at the characters, exploring the setting and identifying the adjectives used to describe the fruit. This week in English we learnt the features of a story. All stories have a beginning, a middle and an end. We have also been using capital letters and full stops when writing a sentence.
We made a story road using pictures. We worked together to order the story and write sentences about the pictures. We then drew a story map in preparation for next week when we will be retelling the story.
