Today, as part of our Rights Respecting Schools work, Year 5 & 6 families attended an internet safety workshop led by BT and Unicef UK. The session :
- helped parents to understand what children are doing online
- explained some of the safety issues parents and children should be aware of
- provided practical ideas and tools to help parents protect their children and stay safe (articles 34 and 36)
- helped parents and children have conversations about online safety.
