In Religious Education we have been thinking about the places where we feel safe, and why we feel safe there.
We have been thinking about Psalm 131:
I trust you God. Just like a baby, safe and snug,
Being carried in a mum’s arms. So I can rest in your love.
So gently held. So lovingly held.
So good to be in your care.
I will rest in your love for me.
When thinking about places where we feel safe, lots of children said places such as home, school and church. When asked why they feel safe there, the children said it was because that is where the people they love are and they feel protected in these places.
We hope you enjoy some photos of the children building their safe places, with a mixture of blocks, magnets and stickle bricks.
