This Friday we celebrated Hello Yellow! This is a day to think about the importance of our mental wellbeing and the things we can do to improve it.
In Year 3, we discussed lots of different emotions and the times that we have felt this way. We reflected on the past and how the pandemic has been challenging for us all but we tried to find positives in this time. We also thought about our feelings each day, we know that it is okay to feel worried, angry and frustrated but how we deal with it is the important part.
As a class, we thought about all the things in our lives that give us hope when things are tricky. The children thought of so many:
The NHS, Family, Friends, Love, God’s guidance, The Church, Teachers and so many more!
We created our own cubes of hope and used these to build a whole class tower!
It has been a great day celebrating Hello Yellow!
It was a happy yellow day!😇😍
