This term we have been learning all about different habitats!
We learnt that some animals live in different places and have different adaptations to help them survive there.
A polar bear lives in a polar habitat. “If he lived in the woodlands, the it would be too hot for he as he has too much fur. The polar region is cold and he needs lots of fur.” Phillippa.
A camel wouldn’t want to live in a polar habitat, they live in a desert habitat. “The camel will be too cold. They have special eyelashes to stop the sand getting in.” Ryan
We have made wonderful habitats for our homework!
Today we looked at the things that animals eat in order to survive and made these into a food chain. We then thought about all the different habitats we have learnt about and tried to make food chains for each habitat.
