This week St Vincent’s have been celebrating our annual Enterprise Week!
During Enterprise Week, each class from Nursery to Year 6 are given a loan of £25 to produce a product to sell to the rest of the school.
Throughout the week, each class have created a product, company name and logo and filmed an advert for everyone to watch to try and persuade children to buy their products! This year, we completed our orders on-line to closely reflect the way that many products are sold. This meant children had to think about how to persuade people to order rather than selling face-to-face.
This year, we wanted to inspire children to think about different careers and opportunities that are available to them. This was extra special as amazing parent volunteers took time to come and speak to classes across the school. On behalf of all the staff and children at St. Vincent’s we would like to say a big thank you to them.
It was such a valuable experience for children to learn about a broad range of careers and have the opportunity to ask questions. During these discussions, children were able to understand the importance of passion for an industry as well as the challenges that they may face on this journey.
Thank you to everyone who help for creating an exciting and memorable week for our school family.
Have a Happy Half Term!
