Fine motor skills!

This week in Nursery we have been continuing our learning based on our book of the week ‘The Rainbow Fish.’

Today we experimented with using clay. We learnt that clay is not as soft as playdough and we practised using our finger muscles to roll, twist and stretch the clay; this helped to soften it.

We made our own rainbow fish and selected little sequins to push into the clay for the shiny scales. We are gong to leave our rainbow clay fish to dry and see how hard they become!
