Thank you to our wonderful St. Vincent’s Parents’ Association who are planning for a brilliant Christmas here at St. Vincent’s, full of festive fun.
Today every child will come home with an envelope containing a letter with information about the Christmas Fair day planned for Friday 10th December, raffle tickets for our Christmas sack raffle and special paper to make a star with.
All children are invited to be creative by making a star to decorate the windows in the school hall. Special paper has been included in the envelope which you can fold into a star following the instructions below (and hard copies of the instructions are available from the school office). Feel free to decorate your star even further if you wish!
Don’t forget to bring the star into school so it can be displayed in our beautiful hall.
The Farmers Market has kindly donated a Christmas tree to the school. We would like this to be decorated with an ornament from every child in the school. We have kept the Christmas decorations donated in previous years to reuse and we warmly invite all new pupils to bring in a special decoration that can also be added to the tree.
We are really excited about the first Sunday of Advent this weekend and looking forward to our journey to Christmas. Thank you to the St. Vincent’s parents Association for helping to make this time even more special for us.
