Today we took part in #LETGIRLSPLAY, a national incentive organised by England Football and Barclays with an aim for girls across the country to play football today to help ensure that all girls have equal access to football in schools by 2024. We went one step further today and used this opportunity as a platform to have an open conversation about equality and diversity within the sporting world. All children were given the opportunity to join the conversation during their break time and I am proud to say that so many of our pupils contributed their opinions as well as coming up with ideas to improve equality and representation in sports. These suggestions will be used to further enhance our Physical Education curriculum and provide children with a deeper understanding of equality and diversity in sports.
