Last week we had great fun at a drama workshop! Mr Jones from Perform Drama came in and took us on a special journey through the jungle.
The class were so excited to go on this journey together, and Mr Jones made the workshop a fantastic experience! The experience was so emersive, filled with sounds, props and costumes. Reception were so engaged, focused and brilliantly behaved.
We all worked together to make it to the jungle! First we learnt some partner work. Mr Jones showed us how to go back to back, balance together on one leg and move around the space safely to find another partner. Then we went on a plane journey! The class had a bumpy ride as they flew for miles towards the jungle, jumping out of the plane with the help of their parachute backpacks.
The class had to keep an eye out for a crocodlie who had a magic silver key, which he used to lock the special white lion in a cage. Reception showed fantastic listening skills as they had to freeze into trees whenever the crocodile appeared, and he was very sneaky! They managed to work together to find and hide the special key, and free the white lion.
Well done Reception!
