Today six children from Years 5 and 6, went to the Little Venice Sports Centre to represent St Vincent’s at the Westminster Basketball Tournament. After a morning of training with coaches from the London Basketball Association we played matches all afternoon. Year 5’s team won both of their matches and Year 6’s team drew one and won one. Thanks to all these successes, we won a place in the semi-final and played fantastically. The match ended with a 2-1 win to St Barnabas but we were very pleased with our performance and with our silver second place certificates.
Congratulations to Neva, Leon, Oscar, Hector, Freya and Malachi. We are all very proud of you.
