Yesterday, Year 4 took part in an exciting First Aid workshop with Chloe from Mini First Aid.
Chloe taught us about the best people to contact in an emergency, how and when to perform CPR, how to put someone in the recovery position, how to treat burns and cuts and what to do if someone if choking.
CPR is an essential life skill and it was really useful to refresh our knowledge of the best possible action to take in an emergency!
Thank you to the SVPA and Miss Siswick for organising this special first aid workshop for us and the rest of the school. We learnt some very important information and will be able to use it throughout our lives.
We are grateful that we get to learn how to help others and stay safe no matter where we are.
Well done Year 4 for your brilliant engagement during the workshop!
