This week in year 1’s literacy rotations we did the following activities:

  1. Read a phonics decidable book with Miss Pycroft
  2. Practise writing our tricky words on a whiteboard
  3. Typing sentences using the iPads
  4. Reading for pleasure in the book corner
  5. Practicing editing sentences, ensuring they have full stops and capital letters
  6. Matching lower and upper case letters together

We enjoy using this time on a Friday to practice the skills we have learnt throughout the week!
