In Maths in Year 6, we are always trying to consolidate our understanding of Maths concepts by explaining our answers and our reasoning to others.
Today, we worked with our learning partners on a tricky Fractions challenge that involved understanding equivalent fractions, improper fractions and mixed numbers as well as reading a problem solving question carefully.
It was a tricky challenge and we needed to use our learning powers of resilience to keep on trying out different strategies and also practice reciprocity when working with our learning partners.
I found this exercise challenging but later on I found it easy. It was very good. All you have to do is simplify it and then put it in their groups . It was nice and I will like to do it more often.

The maths challenge was really fun and challenging. I found it easy but a bit hard.
I hope we get to do this again.
The maths challenge really helped me improve my maths and I am really enjoying our new topic!
It was pretty fun working together. Solving problems as partners just makes life easier since 2 brains are working instead of 1.
I found the maths challenge really difficult but once I figured out how to solve it, it got easier.
During our lessons on long division, I think I have improved and it’s both challenging but fun.
I like the power maths because I think this it is easier to follow. I like the long division because it needs focused.
